Our Story
We first came up with the idea for Merry & Made on Thursday, 1 October 2026. We began by brainstorming different product ideas and quickly came up with our first concept: handmade miniature tyres with small toy cars attached to them. We believed this idea had great potential and went on to develop it further, eventually creating products that would go on to win multiple awards.
After exploring our first idea, we discovered another product that really caught our attention: the famous Treadmas products – small personalised tyres decorated with a Christmas hat. We started looking into how we could create our own version, focusing on sustainable sourcing and handcrafted excellence.
These early ideas helped shape the direction of Merry & Made and became the starting point for developing our range of unique, handmade products. Every piece is made by students, by hand, and with a deep purpose to promote sustainability.

We are a group of students with a passion for creativity and entrepreneurship, working together to build a small business we can be proud of. At Merry & Made, we create unique handmade products using refurbished, donated, and pre-loved items, giving unwanted materials a new lease of life.
As students, we’re starting small and learning along the way, while aiming to create a successful and sustainable business. We try to use affordable, unwanted, or discarded materials wherever possible, helping to reduce waste while turning them into something useful, beautiful, and worth buying.
